Check if the shingles are wavy, lifted, broken, or cracked. Also, check if the protective granules of the shingles are detaching or are well in place. Flashings are also important: ensure they are not cracked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your shingle roof is between 14 and 20 years old<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">etween 14 and 20 years is the lifespan of your asphalt shingle roof. From the 14<sup>e<\/sup>&nbsp;year onwards, check its condition and waterproofing annually.
